The objective of this project was to use photography to communicate a concept using a style of music and album title as the subject. For this project, I chose the album Depression Cherry by Beach House.
Photography/Explorations
Depression Cherry explores themes of love, longing, and introspection through its exploration of dream pop, and I wanted to encapsulate the album’s mood through various explorations in photography.
Digital Iterations
After narrowing down my photographs, I began to explore various compositions through typographical experimentation, playing with different type sizes, weights, and placements.
